West Bengal revises the Professional Tax Schedule with effect from 1 October 2026. Notification No. 1607-F.T., dated 16 September 2026, introduces revised tax rates and categories under the West Bengal State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1979. The revised provisions cover employees, professionals, businesses and specified categories of persons.
